Estate health dashboard
A monthly maintenance report for a group with a whole estate of WordPress sites, turned into a live dashboard. A small plugin on every site reports in, a hub collects it all, and the client gets one page that says what’s healthy, what needs attention and how the sites have stayed up.

A tiny plugin on every site gathers versions, pending updates, security checks, form tests and known vulnerabilities, and exposes them behind a signed key. It can even update itself.
The hub polls every site on the hour, keeps the latest reading, and turns rules into green, amber or red. Anything amber or red lands in “Needs attention” on its own.
One call to the uptime service returns 90 daily figures per monitor. Results are cached for an hour so the dashboard stays quick.
A custom theme lays it all out: tiles, the status matrix, a per-site deep dive and the uptime bars. Locked to logged-in users and kept out of search.
Each month a snapshot freezes the numbers, compares them with last month and prints to a tidy A4 landscape PDF. No more hand-built reports.
